Things to note: Whist we are located in a fairly remote area, there are local farms and businesses so there will be occasional noise from the neighbours. That might be farm machinery, cows or noise from the local roads when the wind blows from that direction.
The glamping pitches are located in our woodland field, there are the usual countryside hazards such as rabbit holes and wildlife roaming around. Please do keep an eye on where you’re walking, we’d hate for you to trip.
Well behaved dogs are welcome, but please do keep an eye on them and pick up after them. We do own two dogs ourselves. They like a run around the grounds and especially like to let us know when we have company, giving a good bark when they hear a car coming up the drive.

We’re happy for you to use your own barbeques as long as they are raised off the ground. You could even borrow a breezeblock or two to raise it if needed.
FAQs
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in starts from 3pm to let you settle in at your own pace. Check-out is 11.30am. We can, on occasion, accommodate an early check in or check out. Please contact us to request and we can discuss options.
Are pets allowed onsite?
Yes, we love dogs, we have two of our own. We welcome a maximum of 2 well behaved dogs for your stay. Please do pick up after then and don’t allow them to worry the wildlife.
How secluded are the glamping pitches?
Fairly secluded, each pitch is in its own area, surrounded by trees and hedges. We’ve arranged the site so that each pitch feels like it’s in a world of its own.
What wildlife might we see during our stay?
Too much to mention here. We have deer, foxes, rabbits, owls, buzzards, woodpeckers, hedgehogs,
Are campfires permitted?
Each pitch has a raised firepit, you are welcome to have campfires using these. We provide a Firestarter kit (with kindling, matches and a starter pack of wood) and you can also buy additional wood and kindling from us for the rest of your stay.
What should I pack for my stay?
The normal things you would need for a holiday, but we also recommend you bring wellies or walking boots as the dew can make the walk to the showers and kitchen a little soggy in the morning. As well as slippers for inside the Shepherd’s hut or air dome tent. We provide towels for the showers but please do bring your own beach towels.
Is there wi-fi on site?
No, there isn’t wi-fi on site, we really encourage you to switch off and enjoy your time in nature. However, there is pretty good phone signal at the site and if there’s something you need wi-fi for please do ask and we’ll do our best to help.
Are the shower and kitchen facilities shared?
Yes, we have a shower and kitchen block that is shared with all glampers. There is also a couple of separate shared compost toilets near to the pitches.
How close are you to the coast and local attractions?
You can drive to the beach in around 10-15 minutes. Looe beach, voted the favourite coastal town in Cornwall, is an easy 20 minute drive. You can get to most of the major Cornwall attractions within an hour or two so a day trip to St Ives or the Eden Project is perfectly manageable. There are also a lot of local attractions. Is the site suitable for children?
Yes, some of our pitches are suitable for an additional small child. Please do let us know on booking as we need to prepare the extra bed for your little one.
